Postdoctoral assignments within SWEAH 2025

As a SWEAH alumna or alumnus, do you want to stay actively engaged in SWEAH after your PhD defense? Now is the chance to apply for one or several of four postdoc assignments within SWEAH for 2025.

The group of postdocs commissioned for these assignments will have regular contact during the year. Aiming to form a creative postdoc team for mutual support and development, the postdocs selected will assign one the responsibility as the convenor of meetings and activities of the team.

Note that you can apply for one or more assignments. In the application, specify the assignment/-s you are most interested in. We are happy to discuss individual suggestions, such as combinations of assignments. The hourly salary is based on the teacher salary level agreement at the Faculty of medicine, Lund University. The assignments will to a large extent be performed as distance work, with occasional meetings in person in Lund or elsewhere. Travel costs related to the assignments will be covered by SWEAH.

Assistance to the SWEAH study coordinator

You will be a part of the SWEAH pedagogical group. The pedagogical group is convened by the study coordinator and responsible for pedagogical development of SWEAH, including quality development and evaluations. The group meets 4-6 times per year and assists in planning courses, developing course syllabi and content, as well as other SWEAH student activities. You will also take an active role in developing one or more scientific studies based on SWEAH activities.

Assignment workload 150 hours over the year.

Assistant course leader in the course spring 2025

As assistant course leader you will assist the course leader in preparing the course, leading workshops and giving feedback to students on assignments. In addition, you could be asked to report on course matters to SWEAH’s pedagogical group. Start spring 2025. 

Assignment workload: 40 hours during the duration of the course.

As assistant course leader you will assist the course leader in preparing the course, leading workshops and giving feedback to students on assignments. In addition, you could be asked to report on course matters to SWEAH’s pedagogical group. Start autumn 2025.

Assignment workload: 40 hours during the duration of the course.

Responsible for PhD student activities

Within frames given by the study coordinator and research administrator you will coordinate planning and execution of the SWEAH PhD student days as well as additional student activities, for example, online seminars during the year. You will form a working group and do the planning in cooperation with two student representatives under the scientific lead of the study coordinator. You could be asked to report to the SWEAH pedagogical group. An additional task is to assist and act as a discussion partner to SWEAH’s communications officer when it comes to communicating PhD student activities in social media or other channels.

Assignment workload: 80 hours over the year.
